The film opens with the burial scene of an elderly woman. Among the mourners, we quickly recognize her nervous husband Vasil. The irritation of a relative is intensified when the son, despite his requests, refuses to take commemorative photos of the casket with the body of the deceased. This is the first of many scenes between the characters.
After his mother's funeral, Pavel would happily return to his daily duties and pregnant wife. Especially since he doesn't feel comfortable in the company of his father. However, this one has completely different plans related to the belief that the deceased woman is trying to contact him from beyond the grave.
A solution to the puzzle is to visit a known local medium. Willingly or not, Pavel is embroiled in a plot planned by his father, which is to allow a re-evaluation of their strained relationships. Will they succeed?
