The film is set in the capital of Paraguay, Asunción. Chela and Chiquita are descendants of wealthy families who have lived in a magnificent estate for over 30 years. However, recently the financial situation of the heiress is beginning to deteriorate and women are forced to sell a fortune.

When rising debts lead to Chiquita's arrest on charges of fraud, Chela must face a new reality. Getting in the wheel for the first time in years, he begins to provide local taxi services to a group of older affluent women.

One of Chela's passengers is spontaneous, full of life optimism and much younger Angy. Under her tide the introverted heroine gradually dumps the shell and begins a personal, intimate revolution.
